Roy Ring ”Ringo”, 72, Anderson, died June 28, 2003 at home where he was born after an extended illness. He was born February 2, 1931 in Anderson, and was a lifetime resident of Anderson and Pendleton. He was a lifetime mechanic. He was also the co-owner of Ring Implement in Pendleton. He was a graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. He was a member of the Pendleton Volunteer Fire Department for 42 years and a member of the Pendleton Circuit Breakers CB Club. He was an avid fisherman and a fan of NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Grace Chandler Ring whom he married June 6th, 1949. Five Children: Sharon Fox and husband Henry of Pendleton, William Ring of Anderson, Connie Ring and special friend Bella of Indianapolis, Roger Ring of Anderson, and Walter Ring of Anderson Seven Grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents; William and Veva Smith Ring and two brothers and two sisters.
