Roy Ervin Curry, 87 of Anmoore passed away peacefully at Tygart Center Nursing Home in Fairmont, WV on June 26, 2022. He was born in Kanawha Head, Upshur County on October 24, 1935, son of the late Oran “Buck” Curry and Ida (Corley) Curry.
Roy proudly served in the United States Air Force for twenty-four years, retiring as a Master Sergeant and having served over four tours during the Vietnam War. He married his wife Son ok “Sunie” Curry on August 28, 1970.
In addition to his wife, Roy is survived by one son, Bradford “Scott” Curry and wife Carol, Stanley, VA; and many friends and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Curry, stepdaughter, Jo Marszk; one stepson, James Simons.
