Roy Chapman, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday May 30, 2020 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Vitalis (Wescott) Chapman, with whom he shard over 55 years of loving marriage. Born in Summit, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert and Mavis (Croughter) Chapman. Roy was a graduate of Summit High School and went on to attend Howard University. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Roy was employed at Smith Kline Beecham and most recently for Signa for 12 years. He was an avid sports fan. Roy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Bethlehem.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Vitalis; son Sean Chapman of Bethlehem; siblings Barbara Hines and her husband George, Russell Chapman and his wife Rhonda and Mavis Bennett Chapman and her husband Lee and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
