Rosemarie (Biegel) Hauser of Southwick, MA, passed away on November 18, 2021 at the age of 83.
Rosemarie was born on March 16, 1938 in Niedergruppei, German Gabel and was the daughter of the late Josef Biegel and his wife Rosa (Kaiser) Biegel.
Rosemarie leaves her son Matthias S. Hauser and his partner Stephanie M. Williams, her daughter Martina M. Hauser and her partner Dr. Andrew W. Sexton, her grandsons Benjamin Hauser and his wife Bea, Carl Alexander Melton and his wife Stephanie, Anthony Hauser and his wife Elena, Matthias Beecher, her granddaughter Jacqueline Hauser, her great grandson Matthew James Sellon, her great granddaughters Lorelei Hauser, Victoria Hauser, Mai Lie Hauser, her nephews Christian Hübner and his wife Suzanne, Markus Hübner and his wife Monika, Stefan Hübner and his wife Christiane, Stephen Connolly, her grandnieces Franziska Hübner and her husband Alex, Katrin Hübner, Alexandra Hübner and her life partner Nino, her grandnephews Christopher Hübner, Dominik Hübner, Kevin Hübner, her great grandnephew Emil, her sister Gerlinde (Biegel) Hübner, and her beloved partner in crime, our family dog Quincy.
Besides her parents Rosemarie was predeceased by her life-partner Eckhardt Bernstein, her ex-husband Horst S. Hauser, her sister Christa (Kaiser) Connelly, and her brother Dieter Biegel.
Throughout her life she had a special interest in all children, animals, and plants. She was an avid gardener with a thumb so green we always thought it would sprout roots. She was also a very talented knitter who outfitted her own children, then her grandchildren with many warm pieces of clothing and later in life knitted sweaters and hats to donate to an orphanage.
Rosemarie loved to travel and discover new places, traditions, and culinary specialties being an exceptional cook and baker herself. She was very much interested in history, always saying that in WWII Germany, the children didn’t really learn very much.
Rosemarie had an extremely sunny disposition and everyone she encountered knew what a happy, outgoing, and inviting personality she had. She loved to laugh and no one could put one over on her because always had a comeback no matter what someone said.
Mom, we will miss you terribly but know that you need to move on now so be happy as you reconcile with the people you have loved and lost, dancing and singing to your hearts content and we will meet again as you stay in our hearts forever.
