Roselan I. Trickel, age 76 of Lena, IL, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was born December 24, 1940 in Prairie de Chien, WI to the late Harry and Gertrude (Dingman) Vander Drink. She married Robert Allen Trickel on April 27, 1957 in Monroe, WI; he passed away at the age of 36.
Roselan enjoyed reading and was a diehard Green Bay Packer fan. Most of all, she was dedicated to her family and grandkids. Her family would like to thank Monroe Clinic Hospice, especially Kelly Johnson, for their wonderful care.
She is survived by her daughters, Rose Marie (Michael) Gardner of Lena, IL and Robin Walton of Lena; grandchildren, Shane (Sharolyn) Page, Selena (Andy) McCartney, Robert (Kassandra) Trickel, and Ryan Walton; step-grandchildren, Adam Gardner and Amanda Gardner; great grandchildren, Olivia Page, Kaleb Page, Evan Kok, Gracie McCartney, and Daisy McCartney; step-great grandchildren, Marolyn and Madolyn Page; sisters, Carol Hunter of TN, Shirley (John) Ewing of Freeport, and Nancy (Robert) Klinger of CA; longtime friend Patricia Sunderman; and special friend, Pat Kurth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; three infant sons; one infant daughter; brothers, Walt, Harry and Dale; and half-sister, Phyllis Boardman.
