Rose Tate Blidgett, 94, of Meadowbrook, went to go be with the Lord on October 19th, 2008 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Mary (Cookie) & Junior Salerno. She was born February 14, 1914 in Meadowbrook; She was the daughter of the late Frank Tate and Phelomena Ferrise Tate. She was married to the late Antonio Blidgett of Meadowbrook. Surviving are one daughter Mary (Cookie) & Junior Salerno of Shinnston; one son Anthony Blidgett Jr. & daughter-in-law Mary Jane Blidgett of Clarksburg; one grandson Michael Anthony Salerno & wife Ingrid; one great grandson Gage of Fairmont. Also surviving is one brother Paul Tate of Shinnston; one sister Annette & brother-in-law Jay Pugh of Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by eight brothers John, Sam, Pat, Louie, Joe, Tony, Frank, and Albert Tate; but survived by six sister-in-laws, Betty Tate, Mary Tate, Wanita Tate, Flora Cooke, Jennie Lott, and Lena Davis; one brother-in-law Louis Davis and several nieces and nephews. A great thank you for her caregivers Pam Jaggie, Dixie Thornhill and Sandra Fazalare and her best friend Lucille Stire. Rose was a loving, caring mother and grandmother and a good friend to so many people. Her passing has left us all with heartache but her love will always keep us warm.
