Rose Biolchini, 87, of Oglesby died on Wednesday, March 31, at IVCH in Peru. Mrs. Biolchini was born on June 6, 1922, in Oglesby to Charles and Goldie (Sepatini) Ribolzi. She received her Bachelors degree from Northern Illinois University. She married Joseph Biolchini on Sept. 6, 1942 at Sacred Heart Church in Oglesby. She was employed as a secretary at Marquette Cement.
She later taught at a country school near Lostant and in the Oglesby Public Schools and was a co-owner of Ribolzis Shoe Store. She was a member of Holy Family Church, the Daughters of Isabella, Womans Independent Lodge, AARP, Oglesby Womens Club, and the Quilt Guild. Rose is survived by 4 children: Gary (Cheryl) Biolchini, of Oglesby, Paul (Donna) Biolchini, of St. Louis, MO, Jill (Jim) Peters, of LaSalle, and Susan Biolchini, of Leominster, Mass., 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 30, 2002, 1 grandson, and 1 granddaughter. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Church, St. Bede Academy, or the Carol Greening IVCH Foundation
