Rose Elizabeth Spezzano Mendozzi passed away in God’s loving arms on Tuesday, August 18th in Hamilton NJ. She was 95 years old. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Saporito Spezzano. Rose was predeceased in death by her husband Frank “Pete” Mendozzi. Her latest residence was The Clarbridge Senior Care Facility in Hamilton NJ. Rose was raised in Bristol PA; married and moved to Burlington Twp NJ and retired in Ship Bottom NJ.
She worked for the Township of Burlington for 26 years where she was the Township Treasurer. Rose enjoyed cooking Italian, dancing, bowling and living at the shore. She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Bert) Quick, son Frank, grandchildren Rachelle and Dianna Quick; Christina Mendozzi, great-granddaughters Allison and Ariana, brother Tom Spezzano, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by sisters, Mary Sacco, Theresa Costantini, and a brother Peter Spezzano.
