Evans, Rose Mary V., age 92, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother has gone to heaven to join her loving husband, Roy and to watch over her family. She was born to Louie “Red” and Cecilia Valencia in 1923 in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her children, Cecilia (Terry) Carpenter, Rosita (Martin) Schelble, Roy (Joyce) Evans, Joe (Denise) Evans, Gerry (Ernie) Crawford, Chris (Cyd) Evans, and Ana Maria (Alberto) Salvador; grandchildren, Michael, Christine, Ryan, Sean, Michelle, Brooke, Tyler, Jason, Justin, Courtney, Ana Cristina, Patricia, and Ileana; 13 great-grandchildren; many cousins; and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy C.; and her parents. Rose Mary graduated from St. Vincent’s Academy in Albuquerque and attended college in San Diego. She was a member of the Desk and Derrick Club and was very active in the Women’s Guild at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church of which she and Roy were two of the original members of Our Lady of Fatima. Rose Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
