TORRINGTON NEGRI – Rose M. Negri, 79, of Sunny Lane, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2008. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Negri, Sr., who died in 1993. She was born December 24, 1928 in Winsted, CT; the daughter of the late Michael and Rosella (Benedict) Nigri. For many years, Rose was employed as a bookkeeper for Nu-Stars in Torrington. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends at Georgetown Apartments and was a member of the Sullivan Senior Center in Torrington. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Grigos and her husband Raymond of New Hartford and Michelle Jamieson and her husband Sean of Torrington; two step-sons, Francis E. Negri, Jr., of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Joseph Negri of Dunedin, Florida; four sisters, Dolores Giuliano of Torrington, Lucy Sineath of Manassas, Virginia, Faith Black of Warrenton, Virginia and Janet Garovoy of Torrington; a brother, Edward Dziedzic of Torrington and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
