OBIT: Rose M. (Little Rosie) (Scovotti) Hadley, 97, passed away peacefully February 20, 2016 at Stevens Bennett Home for Women after a short illness. Born in Haverhill, MA on June 28, 1918 to Michael and Concetta Scovotti. She resided in Haverhill for most of her life. Rose was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great -great grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed so many good times with them. Rose spent many years working in the shoe and bow industry. She then went on to spend 20 years working as a monitor at the Tilton School in Haverhill. Her devotion to the children at the school equaled her devotion to the children in her own family. She retired at age 91. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur. She is survived by her children, Barbara Sciacca and her husband Torry, her son Michael Hadley and his wife Janice. She was the loving grandmother of Torry Sciacca II and his wife , Leanne of Haverhill, Jennifer Henderson and her husband Ken of Danville and Matthew Hadley and his partner, Deanna of Plaistow. She was the loving great-grandmother to Devin Sciacca, Valerie Sciacca, Heather Sciacca, Abigail Henderson, Allison Henderson and Desirae Hadley. She was also the loving great-great grandmother to Ava Rose Ward and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all of her siblings; Manuel Scovotti, Mary Rose Lightbody, Josephine Sewasky, Billy Scovotti and Benny Scovotti. The family extends many thanks to the administration and dedicated loving staff at Stevens Bennett Home for the exceptional care they provided to her and for making her family. Also, many thanks to the staff at Merrimack Valley Hospice for the tender, loving care they provided these past several months. The family also extends many thanks to the staff at Sarah;s Place for the care and enjoyment they provided to her during her time there.
