Miss Rose Kathleen Kane
, 75, of Kearny departed suddenly on Saturday April 25, 2009.
Rose was born in Westfield, NJ and raised in Jersey City. Upon graduation from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in business, she joined the Tenneco Co., where she ultimately became V.P. of Human Resources. Returning to NJ she settled in Wayne and founded Kane Associates, an epic recruiting firm. Following a successful career she returned to Kearny where she became very active in her church and community.
Rose was currently V.P. of the Parish Council and chair of the Arch Bishop’s Annual Appeal as well as a member of the Rosary Society all at St. Stephen’s Church. She was the co-chair of the Parish Ministry Fair and was also involved with the Annual Irish Show, both at St. Patrick’s Church, Jersey City.
She is survived by her loving sister Susan Reynolds of Washington, NJ and two wonderful brothers; Michael Kane (Peggy) of Rutherford and John Kane (Judy) of Glen Gardner. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Rita Kane of Flemington, NJ and many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
