Rose Hyre, 87, of Clarksburg passed away Sunday October 27th, at her residence. Rose was born August 28, 1926 in Morgantown, WV; daughter of the late George and Anna Kovach Horvath. Rose is survived by two sons, Daniel R Hyre of Winston-Salem, NC, David and Paula Hyre of Bridgeport; one sister, Cathrine Oliverio of Cleveland, OH; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lincoln Hyre, Jr; three brothers, Joseph, Pete and James; two sisters, Helen and Mary. In addition to being a homemaker, Rose worked in the operating room at St. Mary’s Hospital as a surgical technician for 13 years. She also worked at Heck’s Department store for seven years.
