Rose Salaga (Nee:Comegno) of Burlington passed away in Southern Ocean County on Tuesday at the age of 80. A lifelong Burlington area resident she worked for Burlington Coat Factory and then went on to work for and retire from Ocean Spray in Bordentown.
She enjoyed playing cards, poetry and was a parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church. Daughter of the late Annibale and Antoinette (nee:Batisti) Comegno and wife of the late John P. Salaga, Sr., she is survived by her children and their families. John P., Jr. (Lee Ann), Mark (Letha), Carol (Dean) Cannuli, Edward (Odalys); grandchildren: Robin, Kyle, Jillian, Matthew, Chelsea, Rachel, Danielle, Alina, Casey, Jonathan, James; great-grandson Hunter; sister in law Mary Salaga and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her siblings Anna Carnivale, John “Jay” Comegno, and Edith Ferry.
