Rose Anna Hranicka, 68, of St. Jacob, IL, born August 30, 1950 in St. Louis, MO passed away December 27, 2018 at her home in St. Jacob, IL.
Rose was a member of St. James Catholic Church, St. Jacob, IL. She retired from Highland Supply where she had worked for many years. She and her family for over 30 years had very large gardens planting thousands of tomato, pepper and cucumber plants.
She loved cooking, quilting, embroidery, flower gardens and fishing. She loved her family and enjoyed the time they shared together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth S. and Anna G. (nee Boedefeld) Hranicka.
Surviving are her sister, Theresa (Ed) Holshouser of Edwardsville, IL; brothers, Kenneth “Butch” Hranicka of Pocahontas, IL, Paul Hranicka of Alton, IL and Joe Hranicka of St. Jacob, IL; nieces and nephews, Natalie (Adam) Kneller, Daniel Holshouser, Russell (Amanda) Hranicka and Billie Jo Gilliland; great- nieces and nephews, Jessie and Jacob Thomas, Valerie Rose and Joseph Hranicka, Ashley, Braden, Kenny and Steven Gilliland.
