Rose Aileen Mason (age 88) Of Manassas, VA, died Nov. 4, 2016 at Inova Fairfax Heart and Vascular Institute. Born March 13, 1928 in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Joseph Hechtl and Ruby Hechtl (née Ackley). Married Emil S. Mason (USAF, Ret., Dec.) in 1951. After residing in California, Georgia, Germany, Arizona, and Maryland, moved to Manassas in 1973. Worked at the Hecht Co. in Manassas, first in sales and later in personnel, from 1976 to 1986. Long-time member of All Saints Catholic Church. Survived by her daughter Jana Mason, grandson Adian Chan, and son-in-law Shu-Ping Chan, all of Chevy Chase, MD, as well as cousins and other relatives in Maine and elsewhere, and many friends. She was known for her humor, wit, loyalty, and faith. She was much loved and will be missed.
