Rose A. Nannenga age 87, of DeMotte, IN passed away peacefully Sunday, May 28 2017 at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village in DeMotte, IN. She was born October 16, 1929 in DeMotte, IN to Andrew and Bertha (Peterson) Kamminga, both deceased.
On November 16, 1951 she married George A. (Tank) Nannenga, who passed away September 16, 2012. Rose was a homemaker and a graduate of Fair Oaks High School Class of 1947. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, DeMotte, IN.
Rose loved reading, gardening, doing Word Find, crocheting, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Rose is survived by her children: Gerry (Debbie) Nannenga, NJ; Cindy (Roy) Shepherd, DeMotte, IN and Edna (Nick) Kotur of DeMotte, IN.; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband George; sisters, Rose Mae Kamminga, and Mae Nannenga; brothers, George, Art and Curt Kamminga.
