Rose A. Hudak, 64, of Allentown, passed away in her home on Friday August 22, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and friends, after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the loving companion of Gregory Harrison for 37 years. Born in Allentown, on June 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sue (Reenock) Hudak, and Mary (McIsaac) Hudak. Rose was a 1969 graduate of Whitehall High School. Before becoming ill, she worked in the purchasing department for the Allentown School District for many years. She was a member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church in Fountain Hill. She enjoyed going to drag racing events with Greg, and also attending family functions, crocheting, crafts, and loved the ocean. Rose and her brothers Steve and Paul, were the first triplets born in Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, until 30 years later, when another set of triplets were born. Survivors: In addition to her long time companion Greg, are brothers George Hudak (Betty) of Northampton, Steve Hudak (Joan) of Fogelsville, Paul Hudak (Diane) of Allentown, Michael Hudak (Fran) of Old Bridge, N.J; sisters Barbara Klein of Allentown, Eleanor Collins of Bethlehem, Martha Kneiss (Mike) of Center Valley, Margie Stauffer (LeRoy) of Emmaus, Mary Ann Sweeney (Bill) of Allentown; sister in laws Margaret Hudak of Bethlehem, Sue Hudak of Catasauqua, Melissa Ide (Stephen) of Nazareth; 27 nieces and nephews, 57 great-nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great nephew. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Edward Hudak, brother in law Robert Collins, and great niece Lauren Renner.
