Rosalinda Umbrello of Caldwell ID June 21, 1956 – November 11, 2017 Linda was born to Rosalee Martin (Fullerton) and Bert Walker at St. John’s Hospital on June 21 1956 in Santa Monica CA. Linda grew up in Sagus Newhall and was active in sports and cheerleading. She met and fell in love with Michael Umbrello in her Junior year. When they found out she was pregnant Linda dropped out high school, married and went to live with Michael in North Carolina. Upon giving birth to her daughter AnnJeanette, Linda came down with a fever, later finding out she had contracted San Joaquin Valley fever. Because she was not treated for the infection it developed into Spinal meningitis which caused her to be paralyzed. Linda spent more than 44 years in this state being cared for by her mother Rosalee and other family members as well as compassionate care givers who loved, encourage and sometimes just put up with her. Her life would not have been worth living if not for them. Linda spent her days messaging friends and family on Facebook and listening to lots of Elvis songs (she loved the King). Linda was liberated from her earthy body peacefully surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her daughter AnnJeanette Baptiste and her husband Claude, a grandson Tyree, her brother Michael Walker, sisters Tammy Cuttlers, Rashelle Troupe, and Billie Jo Jerman and multiple generations of relatives. So, we say goodbye for now (we’ll see you soon) and celebrate Linda’s freedom. We love you more. Hallelujah.
