Rosalie Tuminelli, 83 of Toms River, died peacefully Wednesday, May 15, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Rosalie was born January 10, 1936 to the late Sabatine and Catherine Cello in Teaneck, New Jersey. After raising her family in Emerson Borough, Rosalie relocated to Toms River, where she has resided for the past 23 years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and was the cornerstone of her family.
She is best described as loyal, courageous, and selfless. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and always had her home magazine ready. She will be greatly missed by her relatives, but also by the King and Richardella families, who have been like family to her for a combined total of over 70 years. Family was Rosalie’s number one priority, and nothing made her happier than spending time with them or entertaining loved ones in her home. Rosalie is predeceased by her parents, beloved husband, John W. Tuminelli, and sister, Josephine Arata.
Rosalie is survived by her sons, John J. Tuminelli and his wife Margaret of Middletown; Joseph Tuminelli and his wife Kristy of Toms River; sister, Grace Pedoto and her husband Michael of Waretown; and grandchildren, Thomas, Dana, Travis, and Jaxson. She was looking forward to the birth of her fifth grandchild in November, who will now be named in her honor.
