Rosalee A. Collis Adams, 71, St. Petersburg, died February 28, 2009 at the Northside Heart Institute, in St. Petersburg, FL after a sudden illness. She was born November 22, 1937 in Anderson, Indiana, and had lived in St. Petersburg since 1996, previously living in Tampa and Anderson. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and an alumni of Anderson College.

Rosalee was currently employed at Scarritt Lincoln-Mercury in payroll and human resources, where she had worked for the past 18 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxillary #912 in Tampa, V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary #6827 in St. Petersburg and a former member of the ABWA – Medalion Chapter in Anderson.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy & husband, Michael Bryson of Orange Park, FL; brother, Paul & wife Joann Collis of Anderson; special friend, Leroy “Doc” Friese of St. Petersburg, FL along with several nieces, nephews and special longtime friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Adams in 1988; parents, Floyd & Alta Gough Collis; and sisters, Doris L. Collis, Arletta Williams and Carolyn Stuart.
