Rosa Nellie Johnson, 82, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday morning August 31, 2013, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.
She was born July 2, 1929, in Rowan County to the late James L. & Renie Roberts Thompson.
Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Matt Johnson, her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children Diane Greene, Floyd (Sandy) Johnson, Brenda (Jesse) Niece, Marilyn (Bobby) Hilterbrand, Ronnie (Brenda) Johnson, Danny (Shirley) Johnson and Nancy Reeves; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Gracie Darrah, Mamie McDonald.
