Rosa Clemente Montemurno, 88, of East Haven transitioned to meet her creator, June 3, 2018 at Talmadge Park.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul Montemurno. She was born in Altamura, Bari Italy February 15, 1930. She courageously came to the United States after marrying: “The Americane” in 1954.
She loved the United States and raised three children: Rose Marie Montemurno of Hamden, Francis Xavier Montemurno (Tara) of East Haven, Anna Lisa Montemurno, of New Haven, and her beloved Dantino piccolino , the French Bulldog. She was a dedicated private duty Certified Nursing Assistant for over 20 years in the New Haven area. She loved to travel, paint, knit and crochet and to go to the Mohegan sun casino (the Indians).
She was predeceased by several siblings: Cipriano, Francesco, Cicillo , Nicola Clemente, and Domenica Laterza of Italy.
She is survived by siblings: Agnes Louidice, Sister Maria Saveria Clemente, Antonio Clemente and Anna Martimucci o f Italy as well as over one hundred nephews, nieces and great nieces , nephews and cousins all of Italy.
