Rosa Ann Kennedy was born June 1, 1956 to the late Deacon Robert Kennedy, Sr., and Evangelist Juanita Kennedy in Moore County, North Carolina. She departed this life on January 2, 2021 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Rosa Ann Kennedy attended school in West End, NC and Goldsboro, NC for children with special needs.
Rosa Ann Kennedy became a member of Creek Grove Christian Pentecostal Holiness Church at an early age. She was a faithful and dedicated member that loved to praise the Lord. Due to health issues she had to become a resident of The Greens of the Pines Health Facility in Pinehurst, NC for 19 years. During her leisure time there she enjoyed watching TV, picking at her roommates, playing with her dolls, coloring, laughing, hollering out, eating and most of all sleeping. She also had a heart for babies. When she was born her parents were told by her doctors that that she wouldn’t live to see 2 years old because of grace and mercy she lived to see 64 years old. God had a plan for her life.
Preceding her in death, her father Deacon Robert Kennedy, Sr. Her grandparents John Andrew Person, Sr., Viola Kennedy, Roosevelt and Mary Spencer.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Evangelist Juanita Kennedy of Eagle Springs, NC. One sister, Eldress Theresa Brower (John) of Eagle Springs, NC. One brother, Elder Robert Kennedy, Jr. of Eagle Springs, NC. Six aunts, Catherine Spencer, Agnes Person, Carolyn Ingram, Savannah Spencer, Rita Woodland and Iola Kennedy. Six uncles, Andrew Spencer (Donnie), John Spencer (Sharon), Nathaniel Spencer, Adam Person, David Person (Gwen) and Bobby Person (Teresa); a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
