Roosevelt “Rosey” Patterson Sr., age 73 of White Hall, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the VA Hospital. He was born December 27, 1946 to the late Eddie Patterson Earnestine Walker Patterson in Gethsemane, Arkansas. Rosey graduated from J.S. Walker High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era from 1967 through 1969 where he served as a sniper and was honorably discharged. He loved spending time and cooking on the grill for his family, loved bowling, enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was known for how good his deer meat turned out.
Roosevelt is survived by his two son, Roosevelt Patterson Jr., of Little Rock, Arkansas and Marcus Patterson of Dallas, Texas; four daughters, Veronica Patterson, Wonda Faye Patterson, Sharon Polk and Valco Williams all of Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers, Roy Seals (Edna), Eddie Patterson (Easter), and Henry Patterson (Bunny); two sisters, Gertrude Adway and Joann James (John) both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one uncle, James Walker Sr,; 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two special God Sons, and a host of neices and nephew and other family. Rosey will be missed by all who knew him.
