Ronnie L. Snyder, age 68, a resident of Boerne since 1996, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008. Born in Sunbury, PA, on September 6, 1939, he was the son of Llewellyn and Gladys Witmer Snyder. A graduate of Sunbury High School, Class of 1957, he served in the U. S. Navy, 1957-1961. He married Mercy Clark on July 20, 1958. Mr. Snyder retired after 37 years of service with the Federal Government, 27 of which was with the U. S. Coast Guard in Alexandria, VA Following his retirement in 1994, he moved to Texas. He was a very active member of the Spring Creek United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Snyder is survived by his wife, Mercy Snyder; Sister in law, Marjorie Reitmeyer and her husband, Stanley; Brothers in law, Larry Clark and his wife, Judy, and Michael Clark; Niece, Jennifer Clark; Nephews, Matthew Clark and his wife, Jamie, and Andrew Reitmeyer and his wife, Stephanie; Great Niece, Emma; Great Nephews, Isaac and Liam.
