RONALD JAMES WADE

Ronald James Wade, 71, died May 30, 2021 at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia, California, after a decade-long battle against cancer.

Ron was born December 21, 1949, in Visalia, California, to James Noah Wade and Rose Marie (Walker) Wade.  Ron graduated from Mt. Whitney High School, Class of 1968.  Following graduation, Ron attended College of the Sequoias, transferred to San Diego State University, where he majored in Psychology.  After college, Ron worked many careers throughout his life.  He was a Lab Technician for a local dentist, and a Salesman for American Greetings, before he found his calling as a real estate broker.

After retiring from real estate, Ron took up multiple hobbies.  He was a jack of all trades and master of all: crown molding, cake baking, sand selling – wherein he became the #1 sand seller on eBay, landscaping, remodeling, woodworking, and jewelry making.  “It’s not a good day unless a package arrives,” he used to say.  Each package contained tools, inventory, or supplies for another project or hobby.

Ron was also known for his dry sense of humor and his love for technology.  He was an avid reader and bookworm.

Ron will be deeply missed by his friends and family, including his wife, Kelly; his sister, Jadene and her husband John; his children, Melanie and her husband Mike, Allyson and her husband Franc, and Garrett and his fiancé Sarah; and his grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Markelle, Nicholas, Katelyn, and Daniel, and all of his extended family.
