Muncie – Ronald W. Wagner, 63, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011, at his residence following an extended illness.
Ronald was born in Muncie on July 2, 1947, the son of Donald W. and Betty R. (Clifton) Wagner, and was a 1965 graduate of Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Wagner proudly served as a Specialist in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for eighteen years with Ball State University. Ronald was a former member of the Muncie Moose Lodge Post # 33.
On March 16, 2011, Ronald and his wife Julia would have celebrated their forty-fourth wedding anniversary.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Julia Wagner, Muncie; four sons, Doug Wagner, Fishers, Chris Wagner, (wife-Michele), Muncie, Andrew Wagner, (wife-Tama), Atlanta, Georgia, and Casey Wagner, Muncie; a brother, Steve Wagner, (wife-Suzan), Muncie; a sister, Jody Howard, Anderson; six grandchildren, Lauren, Conner, Kisaac, Kemory, Karson, and Nathan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Frank Johnson, and his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Esther Jackson.
