Ronald W. “Umar Hassan Hinckley went to be with our Lord, in his home, on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 63.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Donald W. and Gladys Hinckley and son Justin C. Hinckley.

Ron is survived by his son Derek Wishart; daughter Deidre Hassan; brother Donald Hinckley, Jr (Kristine); sister Shirley Collins (Larry); grandson Kai Wishart; granddaughter Ardyn Wishart; nephew Brandon Hinckley; niece Shannon Holsworth; great nieces: Alyssa Hinckley, Autumn Tolbert, Delaney Martinez; and great nephews: Jeremiah Eastman, Scott Holsworth, Jr.

Ron was born on July 23, 1958 in New Britain, Connecticut. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1976 and continued his education by obtaining numerous licenses and certifications. He completed the Calvary School of Ministry and stood firm on God’s word. He  worked many different jobs throughout his lifetime in several different states. Some of those jobs included a cab driver and EMT in Connecticut, a substitute teacher at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in S.D., Insurance sales and Telemarketing in Kansas and Colorado and a Behavioral Health Tech in N.M.

Ron was also a veteran of the US Airforce. In addition, he was an avid prepper, always preparing for all types of survival scenarios. He was also a recognized member of the Chaubunagungamaug Nipmuck Tribe out of Webster, MA and was given the name of “Big Stone” by the tribal elders. He enjoyed writing poetry and short stories, singing and many different genres of music, including pan flute. He was well known for his quick wit and sense of humor and his catch phrase, “Schmell Me” and wanted us to leave that little message for all of you!

Ron will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
