Ronald “Red” William Pethick passed away in the home he shared with his late wife, Lorraine, on December 4, 2021. Red was born in Iowa, where he was raised on a family farm and eventually met his wife Lorraine. They were married on September 7, 1957, in Mason City, IA. They shared over 57 joyful and loving years together and had four children and eight grandchildren. They eventually made their way out to Colorado and lived in Pueblo, CO for 20 years before moving to Grand Junction in 2005.

Red will forever be remembered for his kind and gentle heart, his willingness to drop anything to support family and friends, and his quick wit. He was often found tinkering around in his workshop, tending to his yard and garden, or playing cards with his family.

Red is survived by his four children, Kathleen Pethick of Tampa, FL., Kristine Sebring and her husband Christopher of Sebring, FL., Eileen Arja and her husband Tarek of Grand Junction, CO.,, and Steven Pethick and his wife Laura of Broomfield, CO.; his eight grandchildren: Lindsey Sebring, Sara Sebring, Aaron Pethick, Jillian Leon (Manuel Leon), Nicky Arja, Ben Arja, Amber Pethick, and Janelle Pethick; and his sister Barb Katrana and her husband John. Ron was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine (2014) and his parents.
