Ronald “Ron” Wayne Sinclair Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on May 2, 2018, after a lengthy illness with congestive heart failure. He passed away at his home in Monument, Colorado surrounded by family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father – Ronald, mother – Juanita, and sister – Cathy. He is survived by his wife Debbie; children Charlie, Denise, Ilene, Garrett, Ben, Sierra, James, Nick, Melissa, Jacob, Annie, Sarah, and Jonathan; grandchildren Noah, Jonah, Elijah, Micah, Megan, Abby, and Sarah; siblings Ruby, Alan, Susie, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Ron was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 24, 1950, the oldest of five children. His family moved to Southern California when he was 11 years old. Upon graduation from Simi High School, Ron entered an apprentice trade school to become a plumber like his father and uncles before him.  At 26 years old he obtained a contractor’s license and together with his father founded Sinclair and Sons.

In 1994 he married his wife Debbie and they added to their family over the years by adopting ten children through foster care.

When Ron was 34 he came to saving faith in Jesus Christ, and spent the remainder of his days loving and serving his Savior and sharing the Gospel with the lost.

Throughout his life, family and friends were everything to Ron. He loved to interact with and serve others, quickly endearing himself to all he met. Some of his favorite things to do included camping, cooking, sharing meals with people, and anything that involved his wife and children. In recent years as his illness wore on, Ron’s joy, peace, and delight in Jesus only increased. Likewise did his eagerness to be with his Savior in heaven. Ron exemplified the hope of every Christian, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). Though he is and will be so deeply missed, what sweet assurance that Ron’s faith has now become sight.
