Ronald Richard Caliri, of Pembroke and Wareham, MA passed away on January 13, 2022, just one week shy of his 65th birthday. He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife and is survived by the love of his life, Moreen (Heath) Caliri of Pembroke and Wareham, who he was married to for 42 years, his daughter Kabrin Fogel and her husband Evan Fogel of Buzzards Bay, MA and his daughter Kelsey O’Mara and her husband Teddy O’Mara of Plymouth, MA. He is the loving Grandpa to his buddy Trey O’Mara, Rory O’Mara, Theresa O’Mara, and Bryce Fogel. The brother of Philip Caliri and his late wife Janice Caliri, the late Paul Caliri and his wife Lucy Caliri, and the late Steven Caliri. Brother-in-law of Mary (Heath) Wilson and her husband Steve Wilson, Vonnie (Heath) Callahan and husband Gerald, Glenda (Heath) Marino, and Jim Heath and his wife Maureen. Beloved son-in-law of the late James and Moreen (Milley) Heath. He is loved by so many, including his son-in laws, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and anyone that was lucky enough to know in Medford, Massachusetts, to the late Theresa (Fantasia) Caliri of Gaeta, Italy, he spent his younger years hanging with his three brothers at the baseball field, playing street hockey, and summering at Swifts Beach in Wareham where he and his wife made life-long friendships that will forever be cherished. His wife Moreen was his rock, she stood by him since they were 16 years old. They had an amazing life together, going on countless tropical vacations, building their dream home, and spending time with family. Whether it was their weekly date night or playing board games, according to him it would be “the best night he ever had”, and he meant it. Up until his last breath he never stopped thanking Moreen for his amazing life and never giving up on him, referring to her as his superhero. She is truly what kept him going, and they had an inseparable bond. He loved spending quality time with his mother at her house in Wareham, enjoying her homemade Italian pizza. You could find him basking in the sun all summer long, whether on the deck or at the beach, he loved to be outside.Anyone that ever met Ron was always amazed by his positivity and perseverance despite his health conditions, and the amount of gratitude he expressed to his family day in and day out, it spoke volumes to who he was. He inspired everyone around him to be a better version of themselves, and to be grateful. He won people over unintentionally, through his kind heart. He raised his two daughters, and exceeded expectations as a stay at home dad. Not only did he raise them, but was a Girl Scout dad, a dance dad, a soccer coach, a PTA dad, maintained the soccer fields, and the list goes on. There wasn’t anything that he didn’t get involved in. He always expressed how proud of his girls he was and always made sure they knew it. He had a passion for playing pool, and loved to be with his friends for Friday night “pool night”. He held a special bond with his friend Teddy, and his favorite times were making everlasting memories with the people he loved. He is the definition of a fighter, and we are so very proud of the amazing man he was. He will be missed tremendously by all.
