Along with his parents Ronald is preceded in death by siblings Grady Payton, Bruce Payton, Terry Payton, Marie Rainey and Ann Turner. He is survived by brother Larry Joe Payton and sisters Hazel Rice, Louise Dingler, Corene Grubbs and her husband Bud Grubbs and numerous nieces and nephews.
