Ronald N. Towne, passed away peacefully on March 22 in his home surrounded by his family.

He was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio where he attended Youngstown State University.

He cherished his time in college with the Youngstown Speech Team which gave him the opportunity to compete and travel throughout the United States.

His love for Jesus was the top priority in his life followed closely by his love for Ann and his sons Chris, Brian, Andy and Phil. He was so proud of his sons. Anyone that met him for the first time would hear all about each one, where they lived, where they went to school, and how well they were doing in life. He cherished his time with them especially with a well-known tradition of sharing a little scotch and a cigar. He bragged about his 12 grandchildren and their accomplishments whether he was talking to someone at church or in the grocery line.

He was a successful trial attorney, practicing law in Akron, Ohio for more than 46 years. He volunteered his time and expertise at church, in the community and with family members. He was an avid reader especially regarding the Civil War. He enjoyed golfing, skiing, hiking, biking, reading, and bridge. He was a dedicated supporter of The Salvation Army of Medina County and Esperanza Threads in Cleveland.

He is survived by his wife Ann; his sons Chris (Kim), Brian (Cheryl), Andy (Maggie), and Phil (Cindy); grandchildren Jack, Lena, Sydney, Kayla, Serena, Harrison, William, Benjamin, Sebastian, Bryce, Athena, and Addison. He is also survived by siblings Jonathan (Sandy), Geoffrey (Pinki), Antoinette (Bill) Hauck and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norbert and Agnes Towne.
