Mr. Ronald “Ron” Bernard Harris, Sr. of Riverview, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.
Mr. Ronald Bernard Harris, Sr., also known to most as “Ron” or “Ronnie”, was born on July 23, 1951. Ronald was a lifetime native of Tampa, Florida where he attended Blake High School. He worked at Tampa International Airport, as a Sky Cap for over 30 years, until he retired in 2020. Ronald was an avid sports fan, and his two favorite professional teams were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Ronald was preceded in death by: his father, George Harris; mother, Cathryn Harris-Bynum; daughter, Cheryl Harris-Smith; grandson, Keith Harris, Jr.; great-grandson, Jerome Speights III; grandfather, Melton Rawls; and grandmother, Eunice Rawls.
