Ronald Gene Morrow, 76, passed away Saturday January 15, 2011 at Morrison Woods. He was born May 28, 1934, in Huntington, the son of Paul and Virginia (Hughes) Morrow. He moved to Yorktown, attended Yorktown schools and graduated from Yorktown High School.
Mr. Morrow was a veteran of the US Army.
He was a salesman for Bill McCoy Ford for more than twenty years prior to his retirement.
Ron enjoyed Standardbred Horse Racing, basketball and football.
Surviving are his wife, Donna (McKinley) Morrow, to whom he had been married fifty-four years; two daughters, Melinda Myers, (husband, Dick), Muncie, and Michele Reed, Vincennes; three grandsons, Filip Corey, (fiance, Alison), Dustin Reed and Joshua Gene Corey; his
step-granddaughter, Lori Bailey, (husband, Kenny); four sisters, Monta Williams, (husband, Don), Toby Bell, (husband, Lowell), Katie Sewell, (husband, Sid), and Cindy Heizer, (husband, Don), all of Yorktown; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Ron Pearson, Muncie; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Zoey and Sassy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Croddy.
