Ronald Eugene Welch,34,of Ruffin, NC, died unexpectantly Monday, July 12, 2010 at a hospital near his home. He was born in Clarksburg on August 29, 1975, a son of Carolyn Sue Vest Welch of Reidsville, NC and Allen “Dink” Welch of Ruffin NC who survive as well as his step-mother Neva Welch.
He was married to Frances “Franny” George and has two daughters, DeAnna and Savannah Welch both of Grafton, WV.; one son, Thomas in NC; one brother, Allen Dwane Welch, II of Burlington, NC.; two sisters, Tammy Hostetter , Burlington, NC and Julie Mitchell, Reidsville, NC. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gabrielle Welch; three brothers, Allen, Chris and Nathan Welch, and two sisters, Theresa and Amy Welch.
Ronnie attended Van Horn Elementary and Salem High School, loved to play guitar and listen to guitar music, and enjoyed deer hunting. He was a computer buff and often worked on computers for family and friends. He was Baptist by faith.
