Ronald Eugene White “Ron”, age 69, of Columbus, entered into eternal rest at Kobacker House on February 25,2017. Ron was born October 29, 1947 to the late Eugene and Wilda (Boyd) White in Columbus. Following family tradition, He was baptized at an early age into the Centenary United Methodist Church and graduated from East High School, class of 1967. Ron then enlisted in the US Air Force Police and served in Vietnam. He worked as a fraud & Forgery detective with Ohio National Bank, the Shoe Corporation of America, and Big Lots. Ron retired in 2014 and continued working part-time as a driving instructor. Early morning, March 2, 2017, God called his beloved wife, Barbara, into eternal rest to be with her Lord and her husband. He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Michael E. White of Canton, Oh; daughters, Michelle Pride, Stephanie White, both of Columbus; sister, Sheila (Jerry) Sampract of Alexandria, La; grandchildren, Sevon, Haileigh and Khristian White; former wife, Barbara Pratt White of Canton; sister-in-law, Roselyn Pratt of Canton; many loving cousins and close friends.
