Ronald E. Hannah, age 91, of Edgewater, died Thursday January 27, 2022 at Regency Elderly Care, Edgewater. Born in Lemmon, South Dakota to Essel and Florence Wilson Hannah, Ronald and family came to the area August, 1963 from Sturgis, South Dakota.

 

A United States Army veteran, Ronald was an IBEW electrician, worked at the VAB Building at Kennedy Space Center and helped build Disney. He enjoyed socializing with family and friends in “The Swamp”, traveling with the Daytona Drifters RV club and designing and building all sorts of things. Ronald was a member of the Elks Club, Edgewater; the American Legion Post 17; a 50 year member  of the Masons Lodge#47 A.F.& A.M.. 

Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda (John) Maloughney, of Edgewater; and Renee (David) Hall, of New Smyrna Beach; sons, Craig Hannah (Ann Everidge), of Edgewater and Todd (Terri) Hannah, of New Smyrna Beach; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Wayne Hannah, of Pocasset, Massachusetts; and sister, Patricia Perez, of Tempe, Arizona. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Jean of 55 years; sisters, Gloria Nelson and Joan Peed.
