Ronald Earl Byers, 57, of Hemet, CA and formerly of Jacksonville, IL passed away on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 in Hemet.
Ron was born in Jacksonville on January 26, 1957, the son of Lloyd H. and Irene Farmer Byers.
He was a 1975 graduate of Jacksonville High School and served with the US Navy.
Ron is survived by his mother Rene Strubbe, step-mother Jeanne Byers, brothers, Bob, John and Larry Byers, and sister, Susan Gaudio, all of Jacksonville; sister, Vickie Bolinger of Shelbyville; step-sister, Teri Kunkel of Bluffs; and six nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Digna in 2014; father, Lloyd Byers; step-father, Darrell Strubbe; and a niece, Kayleigh Byers.
