He was born on June 8, 1942 in Coeburn, VA the son of the late Oakley A. and Myrtle (Long) Stanley. He was a retired Sales Manager for Miller Toyota. Survivors include his wife Bonnie Stanley, his children, Kim Herrewig and husband Gary of Haymarket, VA, Shawn Stanley and wife Amy of Nokesville, VA and Travis Stanley of Nokesville, VA; grandchildren, Reilly Herrewig, Maddie Stanley, Oakley Herrewig and T.J. Stanley; great grandchildren, Chloe and Millie Herrewig; eight siblings, Jean Phillips, Ned Stanley, Connie Stanley (Pat), Don Stanley (Judy), Jewell Leckliter (Ed), Charlie Stanley (Joyce), Elizabeth Williams (Ben) and Brenda Stanley.
