Ronald Adam Zell, 95, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 4:07 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, in Wellbrooke of South Bend. Ronald was born on June 8, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to Sylvester Zell Sr. and Helen (Zakrzewski) Zell. He retired after 30 years as a High School Mathematics Teacher. Ronald was the Prefect of Discipline at Notre Dame High School in Niles, Illinois and had taught at High Schools in Hampton, Virginia. On May 25, 1968, in Hampton, Virginia he married Elizabeth Lanzendorf, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Joann Isban; and one brother, Sylvester Zell. Ronald is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Klaybor of South Bend, Indiana; his brother, James (Susan) Zell of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and his loving companion and best friend, Mary Niezgodski.
