Romaine Adelle (Schwartz) Schoener, 81, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. She was the widow of Robert P. “Junie” Schoener Jr. Born on September 8, 1940 in Bethlehem she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah (Gerlach) Schwartz.
Romaine was a 1958 graduate of Liberty High School. She worked for Hess Brothers, Allentown as a Millinery Buyer until she married Junie on October 17, 1964. Being a devoted homemaker, she always put her family first, and cherished all the time spent with them. She was the families’ caregiver, always nursing each person back to health with love and dignity. In later years, Romaine also worked with Junie in the pro shop at Green Pond Country Club, Bethlehem Twp., until his retirement. She had a love for horses, cats, and the theater, seeing many plays and musicals in the community over the years.
Survivors: Romaine will be lovingly remembered by children, Suzanne M. Focht and husband Gary, Sharon M. Laudone, and Robert P. Schoener III; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister Shirley Jones.
