Rollin Edward Johnson, Jr.,86, of Littleton, CO passed away on October 4. He is preceded in death by his parents Rollin Edward Johnson, Sr. and Marion Louise Johnson, first wife Martha Ann Johnson and daughter Patricia Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 30 years Sondra Jeanine Johnson and daughters Carolyn Johnson ( Bridget Collins) Lakewood, CO Cindy (Rick) York Seagrove, NC; grandsons Jeremy Johnson and Dylen York Seagrove, NC, J.C. Prichard., LaGrange, KY, and stepsons Scott Swenson Billings, MT, Kris Swenson (Diana) Chandler, AZ and Brent Swenson (Angie) Parker, CO , 7 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born in Montgomery, AL on April 19, 1930. He graduated from Auburn University in 1955 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and served 3 years in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked at AEDC, Tullahoma, TN for 25 years as Manager of Safety and moved to Littleton, CO in 1981 to work for Lockheed Martin as Manager of Safety on the Peacekeeper Program. He married Jeanine Swenson in 1986 who also worked at Lockheed Martin. He retired in 1993.
He was a staunch supporter of the Auburn Tigers , an avid fisherman and loved to cook, especially southern dishes.
