. A native of Erath, LA, he was a painter and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Roland enjoyed and excelled in gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jules Nunez and Jeanne LeBlanc Nunez, his wife, Avie Nunez, and his sister, Belle Stelley. Survivors include his son, Wilbert Nunez and wife Ruth, and his daughter, Claude Ann Doolittle and husband Read; his grandchildren, Michael Skelly, Chris Bares, Michelle Bares, and his great grandson, Grayson Bares; and his sister, Olivia Scalisi.
