Roland Luther Ensor, age 87, of Westminster, died Wednesday May 18, 2011 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born April 5, 1924, he was the son of the late Milton L. and Berzie Beaver Ensor. He was the husband of Ruth Henritz McGinnis Ensor and the late Eva R. Condon Ensor.
He enjoyed traveling, watching the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Colts and the Ravens. In his free time he enjoyed putting together puzzles.He was an electrician for Bendix Field Engineer Corporation. He served in the army during WWII. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a daughter and son in law Evie E. Hathaway and Clement Hathaway of Denton, MD., granddaughters, Sherye and husband Michael Nickerson of Easton, Md, Ashley and Lucas Steward, great grandchildren, Aryn and Logan Steward of Cambridge, MD., step-sons and step daughters-in- law David M. and Lois McGinnis of Westminster, Lawrence A. McGinnis Jr. and Brenda of Owings Mills, Md, step daughters and step sons-in- law Brenda C. and Russell Stewart of Phenix City, AL, and Patricia A. and Daniel Reed of Westminster. Step grandchildren Lori and Andrew Reed of Westminster, Kelli and husband Bryant Renfro of Hanover P.A, Kevin McGinnis, and Michael and wife Tiffany, all of Westminster, Christina and husband David Williams, and Melissa and Christopher Porter, all of Phenix City, AL. Great grandchildren, Austin and Colby Porter, Jacob, Trevor and Kendall Poole of Phenix City, AL. Also surviving is a brother Eugene L. Ensor and friend Katie Koontz of Hanover, P.A.
