ROGER D. TERRAZAS, 78, former resident of Grant County, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at his residence in El Paso.
Roger was born on September 5, 1932, in Columbus to Simon and Rosa Anna (Dominguez) Terrazas. He was a 1951 graduate of Hurley High where he played basketball and helped take his team to state, placing 2nd. He attended college at NMSU, served in the Army, and became an FBI agent.
He is survived by his wife, Elisa Medrano of the family home; four sons, Arnold Terrazas wife Delia of Tucson, Robert Terrazas wife Kelly of El Paso, and James and Michael Terrazas of El Paso; one daughter, Judy Wheatley of El Paso; one sister, Angelina T. Garcia of Bayard; six grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
