Roger Nathan Himmel, age 77 of Baxter, TN passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. Mr. Himmel was born on April 5, 1938 in Buffalo, NY to Richard Joseph and Ruth Getzen Himmel.Mr. Himmel loved his country, joining the United States Air Force and serving as a medic in Maine, Alaska and Texas. He owned several businesses in Buffalo, NY over the years and later in life worked as a realtor in Port Charlotte, FL. He enjoyed fishing for walleye and loved the music of Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra and Glenn Miller. He was a passionate fan of football, following TCU, Tennessee Tech and the Buffalo Bills.
