Roger Layne Retherford, 51, of Clarksburg passed away at his residence. He was born April 1, 1960 in Grafton the son of Elza Retherford and Ruth Holt Retherford. He is survived by three children Tracy Spino-Haught and husband John of Clarksburg, Ashley Renee Retherford of Grafton and Crystal Fitzwater of Shinnston; his good friend Christopher Oliverio; seven grandchildren; Jonathan Oliverio, Mason Spino, Morgan Spino, Antonio Spino, Gavin Fitzwater, Ava Fitzwater and Liam Haught; five brothers; Steve Retherford and wife Kay of Georgia, Bob Retherford of Beckley, WV, Tom Retherford and wife Francis of Grafton, Randall Retherford and wife Pauline of Grafton, Gary Retherford of Grafton and two sisters; Dora Retherford Stutler and husband Leonard of Wallace and Nancy Tapp and husband Richard of Tennesee and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Roger was preceded in death by two brothers Tim Retherford and Dale Retherford. Roger worked as a mechanic for Classic Motors Garage. He enjoyed fishing, camping and building and riding motorcycles.
