Roger Buckner was born March 18, 1914 in Liberty Center, Indiana, to Walter and Bessie Sheets Buckner. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Buckner married Lucille Renz. She preceded him in death. Mr. Buckner was a graduate of Liberty Center High School.
He served in the US Army during WW11. He was a laborer at Anaconda Wire and Cable, Marion, Indiana. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Club, Liberty Center. Survivors include: His son, Roger A. (Kay) Buckner, Warren, IN. Grand-daughter Deah (Brad) Wolf and Great Grand-daughter Mya Wolf. Preceded him in death: One Brother: Ralph Buckner and Two Sisters: Beulah Benjamin and Ruby Boxwell.
